I bought some Jugs , for Catten, & set out 4 yesterday..In THE DUCK river. one had the line woven among the Stump Roots.. I managed to get my oar under the line in one place, and lift it to the surface. It had a 13" Channel Cat on it, that also had a Bite mark above its tail. A mark made like Psycho would make if he tried to eat my fish.. ... Getting Fish up the Butt now.. 6, 8" Blugill yesterday, as well as 4 big Trout given to me. Wonder if I can leave my Boat chained to a tree if it isn't in the Park part of THE DUCK.. ?

I swear!!!! LMAO.... Did your parents drop you on your head as a child? ?? Never a dull moment with you Gramps, NEVER!!!! As for leaving your boat chained to a tree, the only thing the chain is going to do, is keep and honest man honest. I wouldnt suggest doing that if you want to keep your boat.

do you have a trout stamp Ger?
Leave your boat there chained up, and it will be gone the next day.

I picked up my Jugs, ( not Patsys ) Saturday Morning, to prevent them from becomming FREE BEES.. Bait gone, no Fish.. One HOOK was gone, The heavy nylon line was crushed at the end. I tend to think that I lost TURTLE SOUP.. The Anti-thief, Pole is ready for the GRINNIN REAPER, ( untill he puts his hand on it ), but decided not to put it out on Easter Sunday.. XXXXXXXX I did get this pole out, found 2 trebles missing from the handle, and 1 turned sideways. The line was on the embankment.. Sombody tried for it from a boat... XXXXXXX

Rather than start a new post on the same subject , I will continue here.. While Fishing for small stuff on the Duck River, I saw two big Catfish and a large Carp in the same area. shallow with clean bottom.. I re strung 4 JUGS, and used my boat to get there. The Jugs are tied to a 12 Ft chain, Anchored on one end, and Locked to a tree limb on the other. Wasn't supposed to rain, but will give a retrieve report later today. hoping for a BIG CAT, a CARP, and a TURTLE.

you need to catch a few blue gill 3 to 6 inches long for bait on your jugs. the best thing for cats is goldfish but i dont know if you can use them here in TN.
