Bedded my first rifle Sat. evening. Had a little trouble getting it out of the stock, but once I figured it out, it turned out better than I expected, but I was about 1/2 tbl spoon shy of having enough epoxy. Now I just need to shoot it and see how the groups are.

One trick I picked up was to use wax paper on the action instead of a release agent when possible. It works great when I bed the forends on H+R Handis. Don

I've never heard of that before, but whatever works is the ticket. With a lot of release agents, I worry about it mixing with the wet epoxy and making it either soft or take too long to harden.I've even heard of people using cooking spray, like Pam. Don
