I took my Ruger carbine .44 mag down to make sure it was on at 50 yds. Well as i looked thru scope i saw that it was broken at the xhair on right side. I didn't shoot, when i came to house i took it off. Looked up Bushnell's repair addy and will ship it to them with $10 M.O. they requested. Its a Banner 4x32 from back when BL was the parent company. Heck if they want more than $15 + the 10 to fix they can trash it. I buy a brand new one with LT warranty fer $65 includes shipping.

I hate when scopes go bad... Plus the dang things are way to expensive these days. You know its bad when the scopes are costing more than the guns themselves.

Yes its all about who can get the most from u these days. I got the scope boxed up and the M.O. enclosed with it and sent it to them. They don't make that model anymore so i reckon they will send a new or rebuilt one of the newer ones. I had a Tasco 4x32 bite the dust last week of july. Weren't but 8 years old, Bushnell bought them out and said i had to pay fer repairs. $10 fer shipping and another $25 repair. I told them i could buy a new one fer that, they said our point exactly! Lesson i learned is if a company buys out another company yer warranty just went down the tubes! I don't buy Tasco's anymore and i am not buying anymore cheap scopes.

Nowdays, it is cheaper for them to have you buy a new one (made in China of course) than to pay for someone in a factory/shop to repair that $50 scope you bought 5 years ago. Don't think that you are getting screwed....at least if you listen to them.

Luckily this happened at home. My only problem with using it once it's fixed would be if it happened again on a hunt. Some new scopes can be ruined by a heavy hitter in just a few shots. Don

That would be trouble i don't want myself. I am lucky that i have open sights on the carbine and they're sighted in. Just have to save up coins to get better scope. I have a Kahle and Leopold tastes and a Bushnell Banner budget!

Just have to save up coins to get better scope. I have a Kahle and Leopold tastes and a Bushnell Banner budget! You could check some local dealers that carry a lot of used rifles. A lot of them are traded in with really good scopes and the dealers are usually more than willing to separate them from the rifle and sell them off. I've gotten some really good buys on scopes that way. I have a Leupold and a Swift that I got for 25% of the original cost and they both have lifetime warranties to whoever owns them, original owner or not. Don

Doesn't look like i will get any scope back until Oct. I took target dot scope off ML and put it on carbine. I took 4x off CB and put it on Renegade ML. The target dot will work fine on a 2" group shooting Carbine out to its 100 yd. range.

I bought one a few years ago for m$99 and have no regrets at all. It's very clear and has held up to recoil just fine. The best part is the lifetime warranty should anything ever go wrong. Good luck with your bid! Don

Good move. Hope that you win the bidding war and have a new scope to your door in time to use it.

Well i didn't get that nikon scope and neither did the person who run the bid up on me. ***~~~! Thats what i think of the S O They have someone bid against ya to run it up, i done been to that rodeo before. Plus had a big reserve on it, i just quit bidding and watched it go out of time didn't make reserve! I think ebay has lots of those pushers to jackup bids.
