I think if you could hunt Cades Coves, a record book is in there waiting. I have seen some pics of some GREAT bucks at Cades Cove. As for the county, I am going to guess Williamson, Davidson, or Humphrey's. I cant think of one off the top of my head.

Presidents Island and dont forget Dickson and Stewart Counties. There are some true monsters there.
On that note, what are the state records. If I remember correctly, the non-typical is the 48pt shot in Sumner county a few years back, but I dont remember the score.

Look anything similar to this one Muzzy? This guy was photo'd 2 years ago behind the fence at the Nissan motor plant in Dechard. Sorry about the focus. The camera liked the fence more than we did.

Now that I have seen the score, I remember the pic of the typical... Is the one killed in Sumner County with a Muzzleloader the non-typical record?

thats the same deer psycho was referring to. it was killed with a smokepole in sumner co. i have a hard time believing 186 1/8 is our typical record. i really thought that it would have been closer to the 200" mark. and that deer was killed back in 1959! do you think that says something about the twra's management program to have gone almost 50 years without a deer bigger than 186 1/8. thats the 3rd oldest record on there. the oldest being a 206 1/8 wisconsin brute killed back in 1914. i know thats a monster deer but shouldn't we be killing atleast 1 every 3 years that scores in the mid 180's. now that i've gotten my mind curious i wonder how many B.C. bucks are killed each year on average in TN

JEEZEEE! That's a monster! I think that I would rather have that big typical than that even bigger non-typical! That is a beautiful deer there. I might just have to let that one walk! Yea right! ;D
