you lost 1.5 in the drying process That is what he tried to tell me but, I know what happened. I also lost about 10 inches off the neck. He used the wrong maniquin. He had cut the hide on the back of the neck in an "L" shape to trim it back and I would assume that he had to cut the skull plate down as well. From the "kill pose" you could see the difference as well in the spread and the distance inbetween brow tines. You can see how the horns appear to come out of the top of his head instead of the side in that lsat pic. Also, on the trail cam pic of this buck, the rack looked small on his head. Here, the rack looks big on his head. I've only been complaining about this for 2 years now. He was origionaly 16 5/8 spred and scored 121 3/8 green but, with the deductions. He was pushing 128 without deductions. They are both nice bucks. Congrats!

Mine was 17.5 inside at the kill and 16.25 after the drying process... Scored 110 after the dry.. It has no tine length and that is what killed my score.. If he had some tine length he would have easily made P&Y
His bases were 5" around

Mine was right at 5" at the base and 4" past the G1's. Yours is wider but, tine and overall main beam lenght will make up for that on an overall score. I was talking with Doc on the phone eariler this year as I was measuring it up after the dry time and after it was mounted. I think that it came up to around 114 1/2 at that time, with deductions. He might recall what I said that day!?! I bet my big doe outweighed your big doe! ;D

Here is him on the trail cam, it has been enlarged. Anyway, you can see how small the rack looked on his head. He tried to be a 9pt. but, just quite didn't make it happen! Oh, and my big ol' doe weighed 156 pounds on hoof! ;D
