I ordered me some Berger VLD Bullets in .277 cal. Order said that it should be here 1-8-09, but I was told that it will probably be sooner. Looking forward to getting them and getting some powder and primers and getting a load worked up.

Doc, Welcome to the club! If you Email Berger they will send you loading data based on their results with their bullets. They are a very good company to deal with. Hodgdon's H4831SC works very well for me using 130gr. bullets in the .270 Win. I'm looking forward to hearing about your results, especially your hunting results. Don

I am looking forward to shooting these. I am really excited to get a load together and seeing what it does on paper, then on game. I wish I already had them made up and the holes punched in the paper.

Went to The Reloaders Bench today and picked up some primers and powder. Thanks for the powder tip Don.

Don, I can testify to this fact I was with him. He is inching closer to the start line.... he refused to by my Lyman's 48th edition manual though. I indulged in the 49th, some good potty time reading.

doc, you can't go wrong with a couple of (even older) reloading manuals. Some of the old ones have info in them that the new ones don't.....
