I came across these plans for a reloading bench and thought it was fairly well laid out. I didn't use this plan myself, but sort of laid out my bench into three areas, the first for case prep, the second for loading and the third a place to clean and work on guns. Mine will either be four areas or I will build two benches as mine will have an archery area too.

I've seen many different plans for benches like that, the only thing that I never did like about any of them is the shelf underneath. I sit at mine, and that makes for bad shin banging...
When I built mine I did put a shelf under it, but the shelf was there more for structural rigidty than anything else. After having the setup that I have now, I would not change too much. After the first move out of my house in Elgin, I cut my bench in half lengthwise; making two benches directly mounted to the wall studs that are approximately 1.5 ft deep. Much more than that and I tend to accumulate junk behind my presses/tools. With this last move, I kept the same type of bench mounting system, buyt have moved my presses and other tools into different locations to suit the different setup better. I also had built up a stand alone cleaning table on which to mount my gun/rifle cleaning caddy/clamp from Midway.
BTW, none of my builds look anywhere near as pretty or "professional" as those plans I've lookad at. I just use sturdy oak table tops, plywood, and studs (laminated together with bolts) to make it tough, not pretty.
