I was on another forum a month or so ago and happened to look in the classifieds and a fella had 96+ pieces of once fired .257 Weatherby brass for sell. He didnt have a price on it and said to make an offer. I went and checked on the price of new Weatherby brass and did some figuring and offered him $75 + shipping. He took the offer and then told me to not worry about the shipping. I sent him an $80 check and told him to keep the change. He even cleaned it for me and sent the original boxes with it. I now have enough brass to tide me over for the next 10 years or so.

Great deal Doc! That at least half off the cost of new. Have you hunted with the .257 yet? Don

Not yet. I have shot it several times doing load work to see if I could improve on what Julian had already done. I ended up leaving the bullet seated at the same depth, just added a little more powder for a faster load. I like the groups from both bullets(100gr & 115gr) but I believe I like the 100gr bullet better for some reason. I think, in my head, it has more versatility.
