Hi Folks,I have two rifles in 7.62X39. One is an SKS, the other is a Mauser with a Rugger barrel. The Mauser will not take the steel cases I use in the SKS. I want to use it mostly for compitition shooting and some varminting. With my past experance reloading,I find I make better ammo than I can buy. My reload manuals do not have data for this round. If you have the recipie please pass it on to me. Thanks

One thing that I found years ago when I had an SKS is that I couldn't match the Chinese ammo for velocities with brass cases. I started having primer blowouts and extremely high pressure signs before I could even get close.
Just something to watch for.
I just gave up reloading for the SKS, but maybe it would be worthwhile for a bolt.
