I am new to Nashville and I don't have a boat. Any recommendations on where to go fishing off the shore? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The only suggestions I could make would be to fish any of the local lakes and rivers. Old Hickory, Percy Priest, Stones River, Cumberland River, etc. Use chicken livers for smaller cat fish and cut bait for all catfish. I would suggest fishing submerged wood that has a portion visible. I would also suggest talking to Brian Carper here on the forum. Either him or one of his guides may provide more info than I can. Thanks for joining and welcome to TH&F.

If you get off the Mt Juliet exit from I-40 and head south, about 10-12 miles down the road, you will go over the Percy Priest Bridge, which is Hobson Pike. Once you get over the bridge, you will want to park on the side of the road and fish on the left side from where you came over the bridge. I have caught tons of cats there and some pretty good sized bluegill.. I always use a float there, because the bottom is rocky and you will get hung up.
Night crawlers was always the best over there. Good luck! I will probab;y fish that area a few times this summer so keep in touch.
