I've been out looking for another pistol lately and came across a Ruger KP91DC at my local gun shop. It was as they say gently used and for the $250 he was asking for it, I couldn't pass it up. It has a SS slide and an alloy frame. The mags each hold 11 rounds of .40 S+W ammo. When I got home with it I stripped it down and checked it out. There was no evidence it was ever fired, not one spec of unburnt powder nor one splotch of dirt or oil anywhere on or in the gun. I wiped it down with a oiled gun cloth and took it out back for a test run. I purposely fired a mixed bag of ammo through both mags and no problems of any kind. It wears a set of three dot sights that worked out fine. It's a DA/SA pistol, meaning the first shot with the hammer down will fire DA and any succeeding shots will be SA. The DA pull is very long and tends to throw you off target a little. The SA is much better and more suited to any target action. Either would be more than MOI(minute of intruder). The gun balances well and sure fills the hand. The squared off trigger guard works well for the off hands forefinger to grip on while steadying the gun in a two hand hold. It does not have a levered safety, but relies on that long DA trigger pull. It does have an ambidextrous decock lever which makes lowering the hammer very safe. Ruger pistols have always had a good reputation for dependability and so far this lives up to it. I have heard a lot of good things about CorBon's DPX ammo, so I going to get a few boxes of that to try out. They use Barnes pistol bullets in that ammo and being a fan of Barnes rifle bullets, I think it would make some nice carry ammo for the gun. Don

For some reason, I always like stainless and black. Great looking pistol. Keep us updated on that Corbon ammo. I may try some in the XD.

Good going BB.
The link doesn't work.
Very nice to find a gun in that kind of shape for that kind of money.

Bubba + Doc, Can't say as I know what the problem could be. I just click on the link and off I go to the wonderful world of CorBon. Maybe if you click your heals together three times? I tried clicking other links at their site and came up with an error message. They did have an Email option so I sent to you that way. Don

Designed by Barnes' owner Randy Brooks, the X-Bullet is a solid copper projectile, heat treated for extra toughness. There's no separate jacket and no lead core. The bullet holds together for deep, dependable penetration---every time! A deep forward cavity causes the nose to peel back in four separate, razor-edged petals. Viewed head on, the appearance of these four petals gives the X-Bullet its name. The X-Bullet out-penetrates other hunting bullets, and has developed a reputation for delivering quick, one-shot kills on a wide variety of game. BarnesBullets.com

Yup, you just go on down to your local gun shop, and trade/sell it in to them. Then stay a bit longer and watch them log it into their books. If they don't do it right there and then, ask them to do while you watch, and tell them why if they ask. Any big name type will be playing by the rules, so there is no problems there. they legally have to log in all firearms when selling/receiving/trading.

In NEW YORK, The recipient of my Hand Guns, received a slip of paper that I was given, then I went to the Judge, and had the Guns removed from my permit.. He couldnt take Possession of the Guns until they were on his permit..
