Well this isn't exactly a semi-auto, but then again it didn't fit the revolver heading either, so here it is. I was browsing Guns America site when I noticed a derringer for sale. here's a pic. It's a made in America, Cobra derringer. This one is chambered in .38 Special and fires two shots. These guns were originally made under the Davis name, but the tooling was bought up by Cobra and now wears their name. This one is for sale for a mere $125.00! These won't win any shooting competitions, but they are a great last ditch handgun. Made for close in work at maybe 12' or less. Sometimes described as a face or belly gun much like the little .25 or .32 autos, except they can be had in a 9mm or .38 which have a big advantage over those smaller cartridges. Don

If you are having to use one of these, you are in serious danger, IMO. Efficiency doesnt tend to come into play when one of these pistols is drawn.
