I went to the range today,to sight in two Mosin Nagant rifles,I have just finished building.Russian military rifles 7.62x54R.I started with two barreled receivers made by Westinghouse in 1915.All of the parts I bought on ebay.Stocks by ATI.I have $180 dollars in one and $220 in the other. This includes scopes and mounts. The first rifle shoots 2 inch groups at 100 yards, and the other 1 1/2 inch groups. Both groups are in and around the X ring.Of course this is from a bench rest.I used Checkloslovokian 148 grain military surplus ammo.I may be able to do better with good handloads,I will work some up.Wild hogs look out I am coming back. Looks like a couple of winners. I agree that you can tighten them up with some good hand loads. Thanks for sharing.
