You know we got some of the Old Reelfoot boats they used back in the day for duck hunting and crappie fishing on Reelfoot and they had Briggs and Straton motors on them..Now I also like the go devil motor that sometimes are equiped with Briggs and Straton engines too.

I have a 5.1/2 hp Johnson on the Grampajer.. Bought it 15 years ago, havent got 50 hours on it. Been running a little better each time that I take it out, and that isn't very often.. Just had a 5 Hp. Evinrude given to me for parts, needs the Shifter worked on.. I would like very much to adapt a lawn Mower motor on that Drive..

Mine dont have a shifter, you best be pointed the direction you want to go.For reverse you gotta spin the engine round. But its a solid little motor and does well for me.
