I just received the latest RifleShooter magazine and they have a great article on 6.5mm cartridges. The most commonly used 6.5mm bullet for hunting is the 140gr. and it has a better sectional density than the 180gr. .30 caliber. Don

i have a swede 1916 model 96 have abit more work to be done on it. then will put scope on it. play with some now and again

I read the same article, I was annoyed that they didn't mention the Grendel. It is a perfect round in an AR15. I loaded up some Sierra 120gr last week, 2500 fps, which is max for the case and rifle. This round can be loaded hotter in a bolt action. My next tinkering will be the 6.5-06 I think. That seems like one flat shooting SOB.

I read the same article, I was annoyed that they didn't mention the Grendel. I did notice that they avoided mentioning the Grendel. I wonder why? Don
