I have a 70lb Howatt Hunter Recurve Bow for sale. Good shape. I'm getting to old to shoot it. Takes a hoss! Asking $150 might trade for NEF or H&R.

You'll squirt a hemorrhoid trying to pull that thing back.

This is a totally different feel than your 70#'s. A fella on another forum pulls 80# on his compound and uses a 49# recurve. Go talk to Greg Krause, you know where he is at. Get it, but I am not responsible for hospital bills.

DocH has a point. If you are not accustomed to a heavy traditional bow, it will take some work to get there. The legendary Howard Hill had 2 favorites. One of 85 lbs that he used for all of his trick shooting and one at 105 for hunting / practice. I shot 100+ lb compounds when IBO had no limit. Had to work up to it. Just sent you an email with some pictures.
