I picked up a Ruger p-95 and I wasnt even looking for a new pistol. I took it out to the range Sunday, out of the box its not bad at 30 feet all rounds were within the 9 ring. Tiffanie (my girl friend) bought her a lady smith 38 cal. With pink grips (LOL) . At 15 ft she was on paper not bad because this is the first pistol she ever shot. smokepole

Those Rugers shoot good. I dont like them because of the large grip size. Lady Smiths are great. Tell her to keep shooting and she will get accurate.

That Ruger should outlast you, unless you are planning on putting copious amounts of ammo each month through it. They are simply overbuilt for the cartridge they shoot.

They are simply overbuilt for the cartridge they shoot. And that's a good thing! Don

They are over built ,but my girlfriend can put a bullet thru the 10 ring at 30 feet with no problem. I have got to get her to do that with her 38

Among all my Hand Guns, I like my 1898, Iver-Johnson 32, hammerless best..

I had a p89 and it was bulky in my hand but my buddy liked it so I sold him the 89 and bought the 95. The p95 feels better and seems to be more compact but I am larger than normal man.
