Lately I've been noticing that the availability of rifles like the ARs and Mini-14s is way up as compared to earlier this year. Prices are also pretty much back to pre-election levels. Sadly the availability of ammo and reloading components remains at an all time low. I've been thinking the shortage of ammo and components may be the cause of many of the black rifles being available again. Who wants a high cap wall hanger. Not much use if ammo isn't available for them, especially given their appetites. I haven't seen primers for sale since the election! Don

Got 2 black rifles at the store, plenty of ammo at $6.99-9.99 a box. Ordered them back in November, got them in July. $999.99 including and extra 30rd mag, sling and a hard case. Everybody asked for one, no interest since we got them.

The local shop in Mandan is noticing the drop off in panic buying now also. They happen to have three WASR-10's in stock, and can't move them to save anyones soul. Of course they happened to just get them at the absolute highest price point and therefore are priced way out of the curent market: $700 each. They also have pretty much any AR style on hand that could be used to fill a need, even the new Ruger, and two .308 DPMS's. I am thinking of a minimum of 12+ Ar's on hand.

Maybe a few years down the road, they might become a collectors Item. If I wanted one I would trade in Guns of less interest, to bring down the Price.. You don't suppose one could be Raffled off. 1000. Tickets 1.00 each ?
