I am really looking forward to the start of rifle season. I intend to use a selection of Marlins this year. Looking to blood a 35 Rem and 44 Mag, not to mention Ruger Blackhawk in 44mag. Anybody else polishing, reloading and anticipating?

My rifles are ready. Just want to shoot them once more to make sure they are still on.

YUP.. up here, I anticipate Christianizing my HI-POINT 9MM Rifle. Looking at various ammo, thinking about trying to make Hollow points on my drill press. Big problem arose. I got notified that Logging will start asap. next to my Hunting Area.. that will divert the outside Amish, to my area.

Looking at various ammo, thinking about trying to make Hollow points on my drill press. Just to play it safe, check your local hunting regulations as to hunting with modified bullets. I'm just letting you know that it might be illegal to hunt animals with altered projectiles. That is how ND laws read, so I (once again) wanted to make sure that you don't run afoul with your local law makers.

I wouldnt make hollow points anyway. Why not just spend the money and buy some? It is safer that way also.

I haven't had the chance to scout my area yet. Dang Killer hill to walk up after I get down it.. I bought a 1950 Farmall H for my Son, ( Farm Use ) Will get that Friday, then I can drive it as far as the Creek at the bottom of the logging road. As far as Hollow Points go. I found a box of 100 GR. JHP in my ammo box from Tennessee. Getting so dealers dont know what ammo is up here. Scarce as Hens Teeth.. Don't need to concern the Law in this area, Shortage of Wardens. Most are too lazy to ger their Butt out of their Car, .. Poachers thrive in the hills, while Wardens check out legal hunters comming out of the woods.

My 30-06 is dead on and ready, think that 40 year old ammunition will still shoot? The wife bought me as TC muzzleloader for my birthday, nice woman. We have been watching our hunting land for activity.
