Piled it up Guys.. Lost both the truck, and Trailer. Totaled out.. We got to within 37 miles of the Pennsylvania/Maryland border.. The left rear Wheel sheered off, When it went under the fender, It tossed the back of the truck into the air. I slid toward the Rails on the right, and the trailer whipped the rear around so that we boomeranged across the two driveing lanes, and stopped with the truck in the mideum, and the trailer in the driveing lane.. No other vehicles involved, Patsy and I walked away with only very minor injuries.. Extensive under carriage damage to the truck, because the tire on the right rear ripped off the rim. The Trailer received a twisted Hitch, and warping to the frame work.. I abandoned it to the company that picked it up. A tow Truck, and Flatbed carrier were at the scean to remove the vehicles.. valleyhunter and his wife came after us. we are back home..

Don probably shot the wheel off with that new rifle of his. ;D. All jokeing asside, We arn't the least bit upset about the loss of the vehicles, because of the way things are. Traffic was heavy, except when the wild ride took place. No other cars involved, no roll over, no injuries except Pat haveing half a fingernail torn off. Took awhile to stop the bleeding, She said it doesnt hurt any more. My problem now, is how the heck do I get my stuff from Tennessee > jer

Jer, glad that you and Patsy are OK. I have a horror of a freeway accident and vehicles running into me. I travel 60 miles a day back and for to work on a motorcycle, I would not have been so lucky. I guess U-haul could be an option for getting your stuff back? Get a cheap one way flight to Nashville and a one way U-haul could be an answer.

Probably take a Bus right to Manchester My boat trailer is there yet, and a lot of room can be made inside the Motor Home by tying the Chairs on the rack on top. Pallets fastened to the trailer serve as a floor. I can carry 750 pounds on the trailer. Most stuff is in boxes except for my Desk. and a few stands..

Insurence Companies are all the same. I have Comprehensive and Road service on the Truck.. NO COLLISION.. Nation Wide claimes that the accident was a COLLISION, so wont pay anything. We tried to get the Trailer, but it was so bent ,that we couldnt hitch it to the Van,,

Getting back on the Ford issue.. The letter that I received from the INSURANCE CO. still insists that the Wreck is a COLLISION, and they won't pay. Not even the Road service.. I just can't accept that, One mans opinion to get out of paying a claim.. I will take everything that I have to my Attorney. Seems that a lot of People are getting screwed by Insurance Co's falsifying accident reports.
