We leave in the morning for Tennessee.. I stripped the center seats out of the Van, Removed everything except the bare essentials. The game plan is to load the Van, and Boat trailer for the trip back to NY. An attempt will be made to locate and purchase a big enough car carrier so that I can trailer the Van back with the Motor Home. If this is the Case, The Motor Home will be loaded, and the Boat trailer left empty for portage.

We are back in MANCHESTER TN. No problems comming down.. What a mess. More stuff here than I remembered.. There are Trailers for sale in Pawn Shop yards. I sold my Recurve Bow to the neighbor for 25.00 Made him happy. I have a Compound in NY.. I have been approached about selling the Motorhome. I would like to let it go, only to eliminate the need to get it back to NY.. 1978 Tioga, with 60,000 original miles on it.. We don't feel an attachment to our property here. Jennifer has made it into a nice residence, and are adament about the Contract to buy. Wonderful..

I can put a sheet of plywood on the Boat Trailer. That will give me a 4X8 deck. for some things.... 750 Lbs worth.. The Buyer of the Motorhome, was real pleased with the way the Motor sounded. I told him 1,000.00. He didn't seem overjoyed..Said he would talk to his wife.. If it sells, I will buy another 16 FT transport Trailer..

Back in NY now. Patsy bought a Trailer in TN. A Cargo carrier with a steel deck. Maximun carrying weight, 7000. Lbs. I put the Van on it, and brought it home with the Motorhome.. Had to buy some tires, and the Gas used came to over 800.00 for the trip. Never again.. Not worth it...

Coulda sold the van and went home with more money. Good news is, you can probably sell the trailer at NY prices and make a few extra bucks.

What I shudda done, was to stay in TENNESSEE, and sent Patsy back to NY.. Wacky Tobbacky, and the Trailer would sell well in NY.. However, The Trailer use is in demand, by the AMISH, Money can be made with it, also..

The trailer handled the Van OK. It is built to carry 7000 Lbs. The Van was full of packed boxes. The Motorhome pulled it withiut much effort. There will never be another move like that for me again.. It was a foolish way to come back. too bulky, and expensive. but safe enough. Patsy baught the Trailer in Manchester for under 1000.00..
