Its comming down ..... If it stops during the night, valleyhunter and I make a play for the BIG BUCK.. Remembering that the Amish hang their hunting clothes in the horse barn, I hung my Cammo Coveralls in the Cellar, near the wood furnace. Smoke is normal in the valley..

Jer, I don't know if using a smoked Jer as buck lure will work. We've got about 4" here so far. It's supposed to end early tonight, but the cold is moving in this week. Don

I have heard of people using smoke as a cover where there are a lot of wood burning stoves.

I've heard a cigar smoked right before going into the field does the same thing, it hides the human scent.

I guess that any smoke will work, The valley smells of it, Wood, kerosene, Fuel oil, diesel.. Especially when the Air is bone chilling cold.. freezing rain now, the road like glass. Today was the last day for Guns. muzzle loader and Bow, NO CROSSBOWS.. for about a week.
