Got about 2" now and supposed to end up somewhere between 6"-10" with up to 1/2" of freezing rain in the middle. Looking forward to it.

Not much in the way of snow here right now, but we are getting our share of the cold. The old coal stove is working overtime to keep up. Don

I can confirm that I am looking out over a Winter wonderland. Work closed early yesterday and the drive back and fore was horrible. A rear wheel drive pick up truck is not an ideal vehicle in snow and ice.

Be carefull driveing on slippery roads.. give yourself extra space, and slow the vehicle by down shifting, if the brakes cause a problem..

julian, Weight is the key. Put about 500lbs.+ over the drive wheels and it will be good to go. When I lived in New York state I was in an area they call the snow belt. I had a rear wheel drive Chevy and I just filled the bed level with cement blocks. That truck would go through anything with the added weight. Don

You mean you dont dont floor it and leave it in 4 wheel drive?? You'd be surprised at how many rich yuppies I see off in the rhubarb because they thought 4-wheel drive was their ticket to do anything at any speed on snow covered roads. I just love driving by and honking the horn on my Hyundai. LOL!! Don

My wife's uncle used to keep a 55 gal. drum full of water in the bed of his pick up all winter. When we got snow he'd roll it back over the wheels and block it in. When there was no snow he'd roll it back behind the cab. Don
