Im wanting to do some boar hunting on public land next fall. Ive never been before and I want some input on where the best chance of seeing some pigs are. It doesn't matter if they are boars or farrel hogs. The closer to middle tennessee the better. thx.....

I would check Regions III and IV for WMA's and public land. Some will be draw hunts and others will just be dates that you can hunt. There are hogs moving into Middle Tenn and I am sure that with some searching(Rutherford/Wilson Counties), you will find some private land to hunt. Check the TWRA website for WMA's to hunt also.
