I wondered if the Sending unit was set up with a FUSE... No need to finish this story... - - It's a truism that the years force a certain amount of knowledge on you whether you like it or not. Some lessons just take longer than others. Don

How did you know I have a sleepwalking problem :-) ....
I did and it pushes the needle up to the seat ... I tired to give the little spring on the needle somemore pressure to push the needle up a little harded and that didnt make a difference. Without fuel it it it appears to work fine if I blow some are through it. But once you hook up the fuel line and give it a minute it will be pouring gas outo fo the carb.

That is worth a try but I doubt that is the problem as it happens pretty quick after hooking the fuel line back up ... I dont think the float is working properly ... With a new needle, seat amd spring the only other thing left that would cause a problem that quick would be the float/hindge pin
LOL .. thanks for the jokes ... And just so you all know they name Nightstalker came from my first plane that was assigned to me while in the Air Force.

All is well .. the 10hp Briggs mounted right up where the Techemseh (sp???) 8hp used to sit. I did have to adjust and shim some things on the belt tensioner. Only big thing is the original pulley inside diameter is to big so my dad is making me a pulley. Should get it today and .. Well with the rains we have had I dont know if the ground will be good for tilling but the tiller should be complete after that. :-)
