---- I've been busy. Valley Hunter and I are trying to cut and prosess hay from the few small plots available. We gave a trailer load to inlaws for their horses. I built a hay rack on the 8X16 ft car carrier.. Works good. Got a dump rake at an auction for 30.00. Paid 40.00 for a 3 tine hay fork. LOL.. Ever load loose hay with a lawn rake ? lots of fun.. An Amish man is paying us for the hay from the pasture, we cut it, he picks it up.. Raining like heck here. Been much too cold for the season. however, I'm hanging on.. Jer

Keepin' busy will keep you kickin' so don't stop. My 87 year old Dad battled cancer last year and seems to have come out on top. He is still splitting his own firewood. There's a few things he can't do or gets tired doing and he says that just makes him feel useless. We have plenty of heat and humidity around here to. Good to hear from you! Don

Little by little, we are gaining on the financial devistation here. Finally had to contact the Attorney General about Chase Bank. Big problem with them.. Had venison steak for lunch.. ;D....The old wood furnace has eaten about a cord and a half of Amish Saw Mill Slab Wood, so far. 28 degrees last night. Gunning season opens in my back yard Nov.20. Bow is open now.NY has finally allowed Cross Bows, but not till next year. The regulations are rediculous. Mainly the draw poundage is way too high.. Checked out my hunting spot at BLAKESLEES HOLE, Got deer there several times, no good now. 4 wheelers have ruined it. Valley Hunter and I have been told of several Deer siteings behind my Brothers place below us. We will scout that area, and set up new watch sites. Wish us luck. Jer
