I picked up a pair of Glocks, a Mod. 27 and a Mod. 23. Both are chambered for the .40 S+W. The 27 holds 9+1 and the 23 13+1. The small size of the 27 makes it ideal as a CCW. The 23's larger size allows for a better hand hold and can share it's magazines with the 27. I trust Glock's dependability more than any other handgun and feel the .40 S+W has become a proven man stopper. I think most police departments in the USA agree with me on those two points. Don

What gen did you get and how much did you pay for them? Academy Sports has great deals on handguns.... I think the Gen IV was around $520 or something...

Haven't had a glock in several years. I like them. Good purchases.

Both are third generation. I got a great deal on the 27 at $469 and the 23 was $489 both prices are out the door including background and tax. I've never reloaded for the .40 S+W and not sure I will or not. I picked up 150 rounds of ammo for break in and have to find some good defense ammo for carry. I'll buy a several boxes of that so I'm sure that it works in the guns before I use it for carry. Don
