So apparently Iran now has nuclear capabilities. i was just wondering what everyones take on this was? should we allow them to have these capabilities? is it our place to decide who should and who shouldn't have nuclear capabilities? if we allowed Pakistan why not allow Iran? is it worth risking a large scale war to keep uranium and nuclear weapons out of their hands? Coments.....

I think we need to keep our eye on them, but let the UN do what ever they want to do. I dont want to have our troops in 3 different confrontations at the same time. We would be to spread out. The way things are going, alot of other countries would be opposed to the US stepping in. Now if their president was accidentally shot in the head, that wouldnt bother me to much. But only accidentally..

If any of us feel threatened by Iran's nuclear endeavors, you can just imagine what Isreal is thinking. I'd prefer sitting back and watching them handle this matter. I can't see this as a good thing for anyone, but I don't think a strike by the US at this time is in our best interest. While we aren't on the best terms with them, there is no open hostility, other than their obvious backing of the terrorist element in Iraq. The people in this country barely have the fortitude to finish up what we started in Iraq. I can't see entering another engagement without the backing at home, that our soldiers would need and definitely deserve. Halfhearted efforts and support would only end up getting more of our soldiers dead. While we have always been prepared to accept casualties for the right cause, our public would never get behind an attack on Iran. Without that support any effort would be in vain. Personally I'd have no problem with a surgical attack on their nuclear, military, and communications facilities. Then standing back and saying, "your move!". If we learned anything from Iran, it's the extent of the massive damage that we can cause with our air strikes. I'm actually quite surprised that we haven't entered the fray with Syria. Don
