Ruger announced a few new guns for this coming year.
Their M77 bolt action 16 1/2" barreled scout rifle, the "Frontier", is getting a few new caliber choices, a .338 Federal and the .358 Winchester. The rifle weighs in at about 6 1/2lbs. and handles very well in heavy brush, but the recoil should be quite stout with these two new chamberings.
They also announced a newly named "Hawkeye" rifle. It's also based on the M77, but this bolt action features an improved trigger called the LC6, wears a new and improved red rubber recoil pad, and it's main attraction will be a Mauser style controled feed and claw extractor. I would expect it to be priced a bit higher than their standard M77 rifles. It's being called an instant classic and was reportedly built based on customer feedback. They will also have two non-standard versions of the "Hawkeye" called the Alaskan and the African both are chambered in .375.
A new target model of their Mini-14 will also be coming out. It wears a heavier barrel and comes with a claim of 1", 100 yard groups. Accuracy has always been lacking in these rifles in the past, but their dependability has always been very good. Don

I don't think it would do anything your .450 couldn't do. Don

That is a great looking round. It seems that Ruger and Hornady have been doing alot of teaming up here in the past few years. They seem to be making some good rounds. Now if they will just last like some of the more common rounds out now. Only time will tell.
