TULLIVERS Pawn, has a beautiful, like new MARLIN, Lever 30-30.. The wood looks like Walnut, Checkered. Appears as though 4" or more has been cut off the Stock.. This rifle has a Scope mounted, and the asking price is over $ 300.00 I thought that I would offer them the Double Side by Side Russian shotgun for it.. Advise please.. Note . I would have to Add to, or replace the Stock..

not worth it.. That rifle can be bought new for right around $325... I wouldnt trade your shotgun for it and then have to replace the stock on the 30-30.. I would back away from that deal all together..

how much you want for the russian double barrel? I thought at one time that I might be able to trade it for TWO used, but shootable Winchester 30-30,s Those seem to be scarce as Hens Teeth, so to answer your Question, I feel that $ 300.00 would do it..

The picture that BIGBLUE put on is the Rifle.. It has the Sling swivels, and a Big Telescope.. Like you said, Not much of a bargain, by the time that I pay sales Tax, and other hidden charges..

Tullivers or Toliver's??
Go to Shelbyville and and look for Shelbyville Pawn and Loan on the corner of Thompson St. and Depot St. in the little shopping center. It was right on Madison close to KFC, but moved when a Semi drove through the building. They have great deals on firearms and treat you right. They also have a GREAT layaway system. As long as you pay at least $1 a month, they keep it for you. I have done alot of business with them over the years and that is where I buy my ammo, until I get all of the stuff to reload. Look them up in the phone book or call info and you can get directions if you need them.

jer, whats the stock look like compared to that one? ----- The Checkering is the same, Don't remember if the Color was darker, or not.. If the Sling swivel is in original place, then about 2 inches of stock was cut off, and a Recoil Pad would replace that.. I can take another look at it , if you want.
