.... if anyone is interested in it. The details are here and don't be afraid to ask Kelsey any questions you might have. Looks to be great if you are looking at putting together a lesser priced AR type of rifle!!!!

Bubba, I think I might have seen that before. Building a, as the left calls them, assault rifle now makes a lot of sense. If the current laws change back to the bad old days of the Clinton bans or worse, now is the time to buy. They don't eat anything if they sit in the closet unused, but if the need for one should ever arise it would be great to have one at hand. Don

I got a start on it today. While at a gun show I was able to pick up a Rock River Arms stripped lower receiver. That's the only part that requires a FFL transfer so the rest of the parts can be mailed right to my door. Don

The project AR is proceeding well. I ordered a mid length rifle kit last week from www.del-ton.com/. It has a 16" heavy barrel with the A2 front sight and a 1-9" twist rate, carry handle rear along with the fixed A2 stock. The kit also includes all the parts for the lower receiver. I'm hoping all the parts will be delivered by next weekend. Don

UPS dropped off my parts kit this evening, right after supper. Here it is with the RRA lower that I had gotten a few weeks back. I couldn't wait to get started on it. I gathered some tools together and read over the instructions one more time. I had printed them from AR15.com. I just took it step by step from the instruction and a short hour later I was test firing it. I want to take the trigger out and do a bit of polishing on it, but it works like a charm as is. Don

I'd be glad to ship it to you, BUT the parts just made the trip North from N.C. and they're still suffering jet lag. It better rest here for awhile. LOL BTW-I'm not sure how close you'd be, but Del-Ton is in the process of opening a store front in Elizabethtown, N.C. Previously they were strictly mail order. It would be a great place to go shopping. Don
