Here's my results: Savage Model 12 in 308 with 6-18x50 Bushnell scope-10lbs 14ozs Stevens Model 200 in .270 with Alpen 3-10x44 scope-8lbs 3ozs Stevens Model 200 in .243 with Leupold 2.5-8x40-7lbs 10 ozs Marlin 1895 in 45/70 with XS ghost ring sights-7lbs 2ozs

IM a little surprised by the 4570 In what way? I would have thought it would have weighed less than it did, due to the lack of a scope. However the weight does help a bit with taming the recoil. Don

Then it's one of a very few! LOL My HI POINT 9MM weighs just 7# that is with the 8 shot Magazine, loaded I'm kind of surprised the Hi Point weighs as much as it does, but wonder how much of that is ammo and how much is gun? I weighed my AK and with the ammo and magazine it comes in at 8lb 6oz and without the magazine and ammo it drops to 6lb 1oz. Don

I actually thought it would be heavier.. I guess with mine(450) loaded and carrying a shell holder threw off my guestimate on its weight.

I get 6,1/4 # without the Clip & ammo.. Using an old store balance Scale..

I know what your saying. The weight of rifles seems to become more and more of a factor to me with each passing year. The Tikka Lite rifles are looking more attractive all the time. Don
