I just bought my son a Henry Golden Boy H004 in .22 s/l/lr. I plan on getting the personalized receiver cover with his name on it when I can get overtime again. He is only 3 years old, come the end of May, so I probably will keep it in the safe for 6 or 7 years. I figure it will go nicely with the Tennessee Lifetime Sportsman license his mother and I got for him! ;D

I did get him a toy fishing pole. It's probably good enough for bream. We plan on going fishing when we take a vacation in May in central Virginia. I'll probably take him and his mother out on Percy Priest when it warms up a few times. I've probably got 3 dozen rods and reels: spinning, spin-cast, baitcast, and fly.

That's one very cool gift and one that he can treasure his whole life. Great way to introduce him to rifles and hunting! Don

That is the right way to think. A rifle, a hunting license and the rest of his life to get it done.
