when does the bucks start losing there horns before the animal chew them up,anyone has a good ideal when,i live in pikeville ,tenn.im going out behind the house were theres a big pine thicket,and stop by a rock house i found an dig some arrowheads,howard.

Have any of you all seen a shed trap? It's basically a box feeder with only one hole andwebbed up with bungee cords that are supposed to snag and pull off deer antlers at shed time.

Ive read about one that you can use string or wire that is an antler trap. I never thought to use bungees, good idea.

Saw a buck with horns as late as early March 2006, he was feeding with three does. Driving back from Ashville NC on I26 up in the Flag Pond TN area.

Pronghorn antelope have horns and they fall off......That is the only animal that has horns that fall off every year.

I did not know antelopes horns fell off... I have never heard of it... Im gonna check into it,,, I think you are pulling my leg

Deer shed thier horns. Called in four does with a doe bleat. Able to harvest a doe during black powder season. Cooked up the t/loins last night. Family enjoyed.
