NOW, I am confused ? On the top right corner of the Tn. H & T guide, on page 6, it states, ON private property, hunting while in or on a vehicle that cannot be legally licensed to operate on public highways in Tennessee is PERMITTED PROVIDING THAT THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY. ( Engine may be running ) ? ? Does that mean that any good condition Car, Truck, Van, Bus, or Motorhome with an unattainable TITLE, is legal to hunt from, Yet a junk vehicle with a title is not. ? I can bring my unlicensed NY motorhome down here, declare that the Title is lost, Park it on private property , ( with permission, ) and shoot deer in comfort. LEGALLY.

Sorry for my absense in this entire conversation. I've had a crazy weekend. Just to set things straight. I dont intentionally hunt illegal. I didn't know that it was illegal at the time.
What if we weren't hunting? What if we were sighting in our rifles and didn't want to get out and walk in the rain. Instead we just shot out of the truck and the drove up to the target to check the pattern? is that illegal too?

I'm sure that an attorney would have a field day with this law... I take the Info on the page 6 of the book as meaning any motor vehicle, including the mentioned extras. I just got the Tennessee Tag for my Motor Home. Why was I asked if it was driveable ? ? ? Now,the Target shooting thing is interesting.. because in NY, a ticket would be issued, knowing that the ( VICTIM ) more than likely would plead guilty, and pay a nominal fine, in preference to Paying an attorney, Hundreds of dollars to prove his innocence. Sick, Sick... --- Don't get me started on this.... Its my pet pieve...

Now your getting ridiculous...Hunting and target practice is 2 entirely different things.

Target Practice from a truck.. UH-UH- Loaded fire arm in a vehicle.. = lost gun, Big fine.. ? Only if you are on a road way and dont have a concealed carry permit. On private land, you are OK. Time to seal off this topic...were spinning tires here.
