I would probably pick Iowa. It would be a real tuff choice though.

Without a doubt Kansas. I went last year for the first time and it was the best hunting experience I've had thus far. IL and Iowa would be great places too though. I have never really heard bucks grunt like I did there and I heard quite a few. The signs were unbelievable. It seemed like every 50yrds there was another scrape or another rub. I have a farm in Alexandria,TN and I was just not used to seeing signs and deer like I did in KS. I saw probably 3 bucks to every doe that I saw. I was there for 10 days.

muzzy, my stepdad used to be the commander over the airforce range in salina, ks so we got to go for free. he goes every year and last year was my first since he only goes to bowhunt. last year was my first year to bowhunt and i really enjoy it more than any other hunting i have ever done. unfortunately i missed the deadline this year so i wont get to go. he is only allowed to take one guest or i would hook you up. it is a sweet deal and i almost died when i found out the registration was earlier this year. i thought they would send me something but they didn't. i promise i will not miss it next year. i am going to try out bucksnort, tn this year since i am not getting to go to kansas. the guy in waverly, tn with the good trail cam buck pics is pretty close to to bucksort i think. they look like pretty good bucks to me. hopefully this place will have some bigger ones than that. we'll see and i will let all know how it goes.
