Why does TN have such high in-state hunting costs? it cost $130 for a sportsman liscence. which is usually the cheapest way to go. If you are planning on deer/turkey hunting with a bow, muzzleloader, and rifle on a WMA and if i want to do some duck hunting as well it will cost around $150. Why do the residents of TN have to pay so much more than a resident hunter in KY? a resident hunter in KY can hunt pretty much everything for $80. or an out of state deer hunter can chase some monster bucks in ohio for $150.

Being new here, I didn't wan't to complain, but to fit in. here I go.... I agree, that all the huntin tags are TOO expensive. Too many restrictions, Limited access to areas where Bow, or Shotgun could be used. Too strict about DEER CHECK Stations, On and on.. ... In NY. $46.00 got your BOW, MUZZLE, REGULAR seasons + Turkey, and Doe permit. If you bought the package. A chance for extra Doe in a specified Deer Management Area was free. Also included Fishing. If you ran across a DEER Check Station, you better be legal.. Other than that. you go straight to where ever you want to go...JER
