Thats what I was told this Morning. Did TENNESSEE really place 40 DEER in a park, to get these herds started , during the 50's ? This whole Deer hunting scenario is beginning to fall into place. Hunting areas, Permits. DMA's ,Seasons. All for the continued preservation of future hunting.. nice.

My neighbor, older than I, said that when he used to hunt, There were no DEER. he hunted small game, and Birds. Seems kind of strange that Kentucky had DEER, and Tennessee didn't. UNLESS, uncontrolled hunting cleaned them out, to an unsafe minimum.
