With dog season kicking off here this past Saturday, I was just waiting to see how long it would be before the inconsiderate deer hunters showed up. Well, it took them 3 days. This morning, one comes onto the property with a 4wheel drive. Since we had so much rain last night, everything is slick. Well, here he goes, rutting up the private road, not even stopping to ask permission! I ran him off with a few choice words. Around 2pm, I am sitting here in the house and hear a shot that sounds like it's in the front yard. I get on the 4wheeler and pull out on the dirt road and there is a truck parked with nobody in it and it is running. Didn't see him in the pastures so, I knew he was on my property. Well, here he comes walking out of the woods with a squirrel in his hands. He's with the group that is running dogs and sees a squirrel in the tree on my property so, he invites his self on in to shoot it. I sent him on his way with a few choice words as well. So, I go hunting this evening. I am sitting on my stand and I hear something running thru the woods. It's 2 deer dogs. They are peeing and crapping all in my food plot and the corn then jump the deer that are bedded down around my foot plots and run them out of the country! Screwed up my whole hunt this evening. I am sick and tired of the dog hunters that disrespect land owners and other hunters. They say all dogs go to heaven. Well, I'm gonna start helping them get there a little faster!

Better to confiscate the 4 wheeler, make him walk home.. Then wait for DAD, or The Sheriff. Simple.. If they want the 4 Wheeler, Pay for Dammages to the Food plot...

Then you would probably be arrested for simple assault and theft of the 4 wheeler. I've got a great idea on the dogs, it just came to me. I am going to start a Feed the Vietnamese Foundation!

I've got a great idea on the dogs, it just came to me. I am going to start a Feed the Vietnamese Foundation! LMAO!!!! We all know how the Vietnamese are starving. What a great way to help out!!!!! Send some of that La. rice to help out also...and a gumbo recipe!!!! As for the kids and our foodplots, there are NO MORE WARNINGS!!!! They got one warning each and somehow keep slipping back over there when we are away and not able to watch it. If I catch another one I am blocking the road out, stopping them getting a tag number and making them wait on the sherriff. If they decide to go Evil Kenevil and jump the ditch, I still have their tag number. I may be a redneck, but I'm not a stupid redneck!!!

I know the 2 people that ride 4 wheelers there. One is a hunting buddy that has permission to hunt and he doesnt cut donuts, the other is a neighbor that checks to see if we are hunting. If we arent, he rides the trails for pleasure, no donuts either. These are young kids, using their vehicles that they take to school everyday. All have tags.

Well, glad this day is over. The big bad dog hunters managed to kill 2 deer running across the road. One from off my property and the other from across the pasture across the road that belongs to somebody else. That was the same pasture that they missed one earlier today. They managed to wound and loose 5. They ran back and forth across my property about 6 times today. So, they shot off the road a total of 12 times. I was scared to let my son and my niece play in the yard for all the shooting and trucks flying by.
I did manage to see one deer today tho. She was skint back doing about 100mph with about 12 walkers on her @$$ slap dab in the middle of my property. All the dog hunters are all out here at the end of the driveway now with the road blocked, drinking beer and bragging about those two little ol' yearlings they killed.

Never understood dog hiunting deer. Never get off the ground here in MI. Bet on that. Our rule of thumb here is that if a dogs running a deer, he's wild and as they say in the Taco Bell skits- goood to go
